Referee Clinic At Middlesex Shooting Sports Club

On Saturday, May 6th, I will be teaching a referee clinic at the newest member club in VSSA, the Middlesex Shooting Sports Club. Hannah Goddard was kind enough to round up approximately 15-20 shooters who are interested in becoming certified referees, and she asked me if I could teach a clinic at their facility. Who could say no to having more new referees in Virginia??

The clinic will start at 10am, where we will go over the entire referee exam, discuss various issues that can occur on the field, and then finish with a few practice rounds, with pointers for what I consider to be good referee skills.

Lane-137I am always thrilled to be a part of any initiative to teach new referees, especially at a brand new member club. Anyone who is interested in becoming a referee is invited to attend.  Click HERE to see a flyer for the clinic. Remember to bring $5 cash or a check made out to NSSA to cover the cost of the referee credentials. I will mail the applications to NSSA for everyone who attends.

The Middlesex Club is located at 1860 Twiggs Ferry Road, Hartfield, Virginia, 23071.
Club phone is 804-776-9861. For more information about the club or the referee clinic, contact
Hannah Goddard at 703-946-7644 or via email at

Hope to see you there on May 6th!
